Victor wanted to defy the forces of the nature; he dedicates his effort to finding the secret of life creating by him a creature. The main idea is that Victor built a complete body from various organic human parts, and then simulated the functions of the human system in it.This creature is Frankenstein’s Monster.

For this reason he suffers and asks for a wife.
He promises if Victor creates a female for him, as hideous as himself, with whom he can live, he will be good as a beginning and never see them again. He would live far from all humanity but happy with his mate, but Victor can’t accept because he thinks of the terrible consequences of this union, having children.
